Which countries and services does Gaze-it cover?
South Africa (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, and DStv Stream as “open the app” only) and Sweden (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, HBO Max, SkyShowtime). More are on the way.
Do I need an account?
No. Gaze-it works straight away without an email or password. Add an email in the Taste tab if you want to keep your picks when you change phones or use more than one device.
Why is a title missing, or showing the wrong service?
Availability changes daily and comes from third-party data that we refresh every night, so it can lag. DStv Stream doesn't share its catalogue, so we can't show what's on it. Let us know and we'll look into it.
How does Gaze-it choose what to show me?
From the titles you love, swipe, open and rate, plus what's trending in your country, new arrivals and titles about to leave. Hidden genres and “not for me” titles never come back. You can retune your taste any time in the Taste tab.
Why doesn't it know what I've watched on Netflix?
Streaming services don't share viewing history with other apps. When you come back from opening a title, Gaze-it asks whether you watched it, and you can mark anything as watched with the eye button.
How do I delete my data?
In the app: Taste → Your data → Delete my data. Or see how to delete your data.
