Delete your data

You can delete your Gaze-it account and all the data linked to it at any time. Gaze-it is provided by Hibouduc Holding AB.

In the app (immediate)

1. Open Gaze-it and go to the Taste tab.
2. Scroll to Your data and tap Delete my data.
3. Tap it again to confirm. Your account and data are deleted straight away and the app starts fresh.

Without the app

Email hello@gazeit.app with the subject “Delete my Gaze-it data”:

• If you signed in with an email address, send it from that address.
• If you never signed in, your account isn't linked to anything that identifies you. Include the account ID shown at the top of Export my data if you can. Otherwise, deleting the app removes your access to the account, and it holds nothing that identifies you.

We'll confirm by email and delete everything within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What's deleted

• Your account, including any sign-in email address.
• Your preferences: country, services, filters, hidden genres, age range.
• Your activity: loves, swipes, lists, watched titles and ratings, and your taste profile.
• “Why this pick” explanations written for you.

What's kept

Nothing linked to you. Our database provider's backups are overwritten on their normal cycle, within 30 days. Short-lived technical logs at our hosting providers expire on their own. Counts we keep for measuring the service (such as how many people used a feature) don't identify anyone. See the privacy policy for details.
